I made my very first youtube video all the way back in 2013. I was enamored by the Youtubers and online
entertainers at the time. They were living the dream, right? I had always been a mega-fan of
CaptainSparklez, and I thought, “yea I would love to do what he does!”. I made videos on and
off for years after that, but I finally started doing it on a consistent basis in May of 2020.
A friend of mine, chess Grandmaster Cemil Can Ali Marandi, happened to be a twitch streamer,
streaming chess on twitch, a new community which was rapidly growing. I decided to jump on
that train, using a Twitch setup I made for fun a few years prior, and try to play!
I got visited by
him a few weeks later, a full 70 viewers, which might not sound like much, but it meant the
world to me, and was an amazing spring off point for my streaming channel.
Since then, a lot of amazing things have happened from it! A tiktok I made of my University got over 4+ million views, and I gained a lot of experience in software through custom coding projects and plugins I used for content! I have also used my knowledge of the space combined with my skills in video editing to do work as an editor, having done professional-grade video edits for internet celebrities and businesses, totaling over 30+ million subscribers and 10+ million views.
